I’ve been working on a project that I can’t even blog about. It’s too top secret. And it’s keeping me from the blog world except to check in briefly on a few favorites every few days. The less time I have to myself, the more I find I need to trim what I do with it. It’s kind of like my day job: There’s only so much page space, and so the words need to be cut to fit. Except that in blogging life it’s the limited time I have to read all of the infinite postings out there.
Here’s what I’m finding: There are a few blogs that I just can’t miss. There’s a few that I like to be sure I check in on every week, at least. There’s a few I forget about and then remember when I visit Google reader. And then there’s a gazillion others.
And that is why I am so grateful to have any readers at all. Because there are so many blogs out there in this sphere. And there are enough really good ones to keep me reading all day. If I have the time. Which I don’t. And I’ve been devoting my late-night blogging time to top-secret project time. So thank you to our readers, who keep coming back and commenting even though I haven’t left too many comments myself in the last several weeks.
I’m grateful that you’re reading. I’m grateful for your support and shared experiences. I’m grateful for the small network of like-minded women who I have found through Momalom.
I intend to jump back in very, very soon, as the project is nearing completion. In the meantime, thanks for sticking with us.
