Jen and I are blown away by the response to the Half-Drunk Challenge. It was just another idea, you see. An idea that I threw out there. An idea that became, like Five for Ten, a self-sustaining means to new connections, and stronger connections–to a group of insightful people that choose, like us, to spend a great amount of time in the written world.
My two littlest boys are snug in their beds for a midday nap. The oldest child plays games with his father. I finally have some time to cozy up in my favorite leather chair beside a roaring fire and re-read all of the brave and daring entries that have come in over the past week.
Our goal was to have a winner chosen by tonight, so please stay tuned. And, by all means, if you would like to cast your own ballot in favor of an entry, please do. I will be taking into consideration the comments that you all have received on your individual posts, as well as those that have been published here at Momalom and those I have received via email.

Hahahahaha! I’m laughing with glee! I snuck in under the wire, in fact, I think I was late. I don’t care. I’m glad I pulled it out, got something posted and voila! found myself in the company of such amazing writers and such wonderful people. I’ve spent all day reading through the entries and I’m honored to be part of such a community. I don’t envy your position at all. It won’t be an easy decision.
