This is My Life: Sunbathing

Don’t be alarmed. It is not ME who is sunbathing. But on this nice, sunny day, a dear member of the family enjoyed the day in the sun (after a thorough spin in the washing machine). Ah, spring.

Dear God, you just reminded me how FILTHY my kids’ “loveys” probably are right now. I think a spotted bunny and a squishy dolphin will be joining that puppy for a sunbathing session…

Hello Theo! I’m pretty jealous you get to bask in the sun!

Theo, you hedonist. We see that grin. Grab the rays while you can, fella. Soon you’ll be riding high in a dump truck full of wet dirt, or dangling off the handlebars of a speeding bike, or being spattered upon at the dining room table. That’s love, for you.

I hope that guy is wearing SPF 30 or higher – he looks pretty pale! :)

I sure wish that was me. I could be his twin. I’m looking about that pale myself.

I want to go lay in the sun! I’m actually sun phobic (cancer phobic?) so I slather on the sunscreen and stay covered … but Theo looks like he’s loving life!

Like TKW, as soon as I saw that picture I thought – oh my goodness – it’s GOT to be time for a bath for Doggy and Piggy. As soon as I finish this comment I’m putting them in the wash!

I hung out my first load of laundry of the season on Friday. There is something blissful about watching a load of clothes flap in the wind. Not nearly so blissful though as this little fella looks soaking it all up. So fun!
