Giving in to popsicle demands to quiet the beasts

Unearthing $10 and a Starbucks card from a pile of doodads teetering on my bookshelf
I’m pretty sure the beverage I purchase with that gift card will warrant another !!! moment

Perfect Curls
•
An hour of peace, quiet and foot beautification. Taking the extra time to shave my legs for the occasion was a double bonus.
•
Handing Ethan a bowl of yogurt and watching him walk to the back stoop and enjoy it all alone.
Because dining al fresco really is all the rage.
•
Forgetting about a weeknight school event, being reminded in the car 45 minutes before baseball practice by my 7-year-old, grimacing, sighing, and then driving to said event. Which all led to me and a giant veggie burrito and an ice cold Corona and this:
Not many things make a boy happier than a little army face paint. Showing it off to teammates at practice? Totally awesome, dude.

The shopping trip of shopping trips with my mama. Which resulted in a dining room table heaped with picture frames for a new project that will bring me the RDA of !!! every day without even having to pull out my camera.
•
Driving 3 hours round-trip to have tapas and wine with sweet Becca Shaw of Drama for Mama. A couple more drinks and we might have taken to the dance floor. What?! I saw the salsa percussionist eyeballing me all flirtatiously as I laughed and laughed and laughed with Becca.
•
Finding Twizzlers on sale during yet another wretched grocery trip with kids.
3 for $5 is cheap. But you can’t put a price on the quiet car rides. I might just have to swing back by Stop n’ Shop over the weekend so I can stockpile them in that fancy lazy susan stowed under the seats of my precious minivan.

It’s amazing that making the effort to document the littlest moments of happiness has actually allowed me to absorb the days better on a whole. Just writing this post has put me in the best of moods today, and I feel like I can suck up all the goodness in my life like a sponge.

My !!! moments this week:
My 2.5 year old giddily walking up the stairs to greet his baby brother after the baby’s nap.
Having drinks with my sister, my husband and my sister’s “not” boyfriend, who was really nice.
Being gifted with my late father’s firefighter captain helmet so I can pass it along to my boys.
Okay, first I have to recover from the envy that is brought upon after learning that you and Becca had wine and tapas….2 of my faves in one room, over alcohol? DAMN!
Love the !!! idea….

I love this website cause I have three boys 5year old 6year old (he has ADHA and Altruism ) and I have a 2 month old and try to home school sometimes I seem so over whelmed that I don’t know when I am coming or going any advice on how to get in a routine.
