Yes, yes, YES.
And when you figure it out, will you teach me?
Absolutely!! you just said soooo much in so few words! (love the pic too!)
Thank you!
Great shot of the two of you! And a lovely sentiment to go with it – even better.
Gorgeous!!! And YES. Enjoying the ride, more of that and less of the other. Thanks for the beautiful reminder. I will think of it the whole day through!
Dizzy AND nauseated. Sometimes the carousel is bumpy and fast, but even in those moments there are things worth cherishing–and remembering.
Beautiful photo of you two.
Dizzy I get, oh how I get it. And the two of you, how gorgeous!!
Hugs xo
Yes, nauseated. To be sure!
Beautiful picture. And what’s a little dizzy spell that lasts 20 years? :)
Amen. Of course, the last time we encountered a carousel, I let Bella ride all by herself … which was great until she realized she was riding all by herself and had a full on meltdown that required the entire ride stop so she could be safely removed.
Moral of the story: Be there. Ride it with them. Because stepping off causes more heartache than you know. ;)
Beautiful!
It is quite dizzy-ing, nauseating, debilitating in some ways; but oh, the feeling when the ride is over, the sense of sticking it out, through the yuck and beauty!
What a beautiful picture! What we all strive for in our everydays!

Oh, yes. That’s been an almost lifelong struggle for me, at least literally — when I was about your boy’s age, my sister and I screamed and cried for our lives on the carousel. And now I say to myself, of actual carousels and of life: please, just relax and enjoy the ride.

Why can’t I figure out how to say so MUCH with so little? This is perfect.

What a great shot of the two of you. You’re perfect together.
I get this. It’s all temporary, right?
Sweet smiles.
A beautiful photo and beautiful words that say so much. Take care.

great analogy! I get less dizzy when I am focusing on the ride itself. When I try to see everything that I think I’m missing…that’s when I get sick. Thanks for the reminder!

It is as if all the cliches are actually 100% TRUE. Time flies by so very fast! This too shall pass, so grab hold of that ride with both hands tight. Let your hair fly in the wind and your heart keep in rhythm to the beats of motherhood.
ENJOY the ride!
Great picture of the two of you guys!

Oh, yes — just cherish the ride!
Love it! (Even when — perhaps especially when — you’re outnumbered!)
So simple, so true, so perfect! Awesome!
