Vanilla? or Chocolate?

Remember Five for Ten? Well, I haven’t done a whole lot in the bloggy world since then. I’m trying to bounce back. I really am. In the meantime, chocolate or vanilla?

Uh-duh. Chocolate.

Should I be checking my mail tomorrow for a package containing these morsels of delight?

Vanilla, a thousand times vanilla. Unless lemon is an option.

Double oooh. I’ve never made lemon before. I am ON IT. Yay, a new baking challenge! (Though that won’t help me get back into BLOGGING, ladies.)

Vanilla. And I’ll also take the chocolate, please. Because that’s how badly I’m craving sugar.

Vanilla! of course vanilla! but maybe, if it has to have yellow icing, it might have to be chocolate.

The icing all tastes the same. My son was going for a “colorful” party. It’s strictly sugar and butter. But buttercream or chocolate buttercream icing is another very real possibility.

Two of each. Please. (I can’t very well choose one or the other, now can I, and they look too good to stop at just one, so…)

Well of course. And you ARE choosing for two people, after all.

Chocolate frosting can be arranged. Actually, there’s a batch in my freezer now, just waiting to be thawed and sprung loose!

Kelly writes

Can I just have the bowl/bag of frosting?
.-= Kelly´s last blog ..Something big, something small =-.

Reply

Jen replies

Absolutely. I’ll remove the jagged-edged tip that gives the frosting the festive look but threatens to cut one’s mouth if accessing frosting straight from the bag.

Can I compare vanilla and chocolate to the two of you and insist, yes insist, that we meet at BlogHer. I am matched with one of you in height and the other in many of the 101 items. And yay, now I sound like a stalker. But seriously, could anyone with three kids born in 4 years really have time to stalk?

Vanilla, and then chocolate, and maybe some more vanilla… My drug of choice? FOOD. Particularly, sweets – cupcakes, cookies, doughnuts, I do adore you. I’ve come a long way – the relationship is generally healthy these days. But, yeah, faced with chocolate AND vanilla cupcakes, I’m having one of each.
