Hey, I’m not MckLinkying this one because it’s not risky per-se. But I wanted you to know I’m keeping my drunken word to post every day this week. I know that might seem wimpy to you NaBloPoMo champions but it’s a summit for me.
Working up the energy for tomorrow’s entry, something I’ve been sitting on since July. Or the previous October. Or September, 1985. Hard to say when the story really started, but I’m telling it tomorrow.
I think this half-drunk challenge is one of the best things I’ve ever stumbled upon in the internet! I read what others post and realize how similar so many of us really are, we think about sex, penis’, vaginas, our strengths and weaknesses, illnesses, struggles and all of it. It’s awesome! I have Steve to thank for that. I was reading his blog and found his entry. Then I started reading more and now have subscribed to many of these wonderful bloggers!
Alright ladies, I just got you one entry away from your goal of 50. Let’s see if another turns up before the day is through!
I linked up a two-for-one. I had written a post in response to a writing prompt elsewhere, but it took a couple glasses of wine for me to hit publish because I stepped waaaay out of my comfort zone in trying my hand at a work of fiction, and then SHARING that with people who very well may think it’s stupid. So I figured I’d link up here, too. Plus? I like you girls. ;)
I’ve been liking the posts I’ve read so far. Off to check out a few more….

I just wanted to say that I have a few lovely ladies who subscribed to my blog and thank you very much for that! However, they were made via my entries into the half drunk challenge. Those pages are actually separate from my main blog. The pages of course are there, but the main one that has all my posts on it, if you’re still interested is http://deenakwennig.wordpress.com
Thank you all so kindly for subscribing! I really appreciate that!
I just wanted to say how enjoyable this week has been with this challenge. It has been enlightening to see so many people open up their hearts and souls and bear it all for the world to share and experience with them. Not only is this practice a way to heal if need be, but also a vehicle for transformational learning for both the author and the reader.
The most precious gift in life is connection. My most profound appreciation to the Momalom’s for creating this opportunity for us.
Steve,
Thank you! I am blown away by the response. Yet again.
Connections. Most precious indeed. And I crave them. More and more. Just give me more. This challenge was another way for us to widen and strengthen this AMAZING community online. I am in awe. Every day. I am so grateful that I get to come to this place and read the words of so many bright and insightful men and women.
I could never ever give this up. Not ever. It is my lifeline now. And the appreciation I have for all of YOU is indescribable.
